BigTree employs a simple and clear tree structure for organizing your site's navigation and page structure. Users can rapidly add, edit, relocate and remove pages to the site tree. Within BigTree, content is classified into one of two categories: Static Pages or Modules. Static Pages house your template-driven content and are maintained with an easy-to-use WYSIWYG editor; Modules are powerful database-driven Web applications like our Events Calendar and FAQ modules.
The most powerful feature of BigTree is that it is built and maintained by Fastspot and, as a result, is highly customizable. New Modules can be built to handle your unique content and existing Modules can be modified to conform to your needs.
Static pages are assigned unique design templates and are easily edited through the WYSIWYG. Rich media, like photos and PDF documents, can be simply dragged and dropped into the WYSIWYG editor. A page-specific resource toolbar organizes your media assets; this allows for quick access to uploaded media and easy content maintenance.
Module Callouts bring dynamic content, like events and news, to any page. Internal page links automatically update; so, if you move a page, links within the site to those pages will not be broken. A site integrity checker verifies linked pages and files, then warns you of any problems before the page is published.

Editor/Publisher System
BigTree employs a multi-tiered user authentication system that allows for strict control and regulation of your content. Editors can be assigned entire branches, specific pages and dynamic modules to contribute to and maintain. Publishers can approve, deny or edit content within their assigned site branches, pages and modules.
Additionally, BigTree maintains user logs and will alert any user who attempts to modify an element that is currently being accessed by another user within the CMS. A date/time stamp is incorporated in the alert system so users can determine if a user is actually modifying content or has left the system engaged without saving his or her changes or logging out.
Custom Modules
BigTree is built on a powerful and flexible core that can be molded to fit your unique content needs. Company directories, blogs, e-commerce, event registration, e-newsletters and product customizers are just a few of the modules that have been built to work on BigTree.
