Fastspot's Work Nominated for Pixel Awards in Two Categories

Fastspot is proud to announce the nomination of two projects in the 2010 Pixel Awards: the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust's Website is nominated in the Non-Profit category, and Fastspot's own Denote Web application is nominated in the Geek category.
The Pixel Awards are the cutting-edge Website award, annually honoring compelling sites that have shown excellence in Web design and development. The Awards' judges, comprised of industry leaders and innovators, look for a creative and technical blend of impeccable graphic design, artistry, technological expertise, and a powerful, stimulating user experience. Sites are evaluated according to the following criteria:
- Innovation – The site must bring something new to the table, break barriers.
- Content – All the words, music, animation, video, and information on the site
- Navigation – How users move around the site
- Visual design – Graphic appearance of the site
- Functionality – Creative and efficient use of technology, interactivity, and usability
- Overall site experience – All of the above combined; the overall site impression
Pixel Award winners will be announced in December 2010. In the meantime, public voting has begun to name the "People's Champ" in all categories.
