Russell & Mackenna

Fastspot designed a highly custom e-commerce Website for furniture company Russell & Mackenna, including a full featured content management solution and a customizer engine.

The customizer engine allows users to see every possible combination within the painted furniture collection and, once they have settled on their dream piece, they can purchase it through the e-commerce system.

The e-commerce engine allows the Russell & Mackenna team to manage coupons, specials, and other incentives, as well as manage their complicated shipping systems. Partner to the e-commerce system is Fastspot's BigTree CMS. We tweaked our CMS to allow the Russell & Mackenna staff to manage not only typical Website content, but also manage each item from every collection.

The front end of the Website invites users to explore the collections, get to know the brand, and become part of the Russell & Mackenna family of loyal clients and colleagues.

Russell & Mackenna designs and produces beautiful cottage style furniture. They give their customers options to customize exactly what they want, and pride themselves on design, quality and craftsmanship. However, all orders were placed through either in-person visits to their flagship store, or over the phone from catalog mailings. While potential customers enjoyed the ability to choose colors, finishes and add-ons, they had a hard time visualizing their options.

The new Website solves those dilemmas.
