The American Beverage Association (ABA) was founded in 1919 as the American Bottlers of Carbonated Beverages and renamed the National Soft Drink Association in 1966. Today, the ABA represents hundreds of beverage producers, distributors, franchise companies and support industries. ABA’s members employ more than 220,000 people who produce U.S. sales in excess of $110 billion per year. They market hundreds of brands, flavors and packages, including regular and diet soft drinks, bottled water and water beverages, 100-percent juice and juice drinks, sports drinks, energy drinks and ready-to-drink teas.
The American Beverage Association selected Fastspot seeking to achieve specific goals. They needed a new easy-to-use Website and content management system, they wanted to brainstorm on ways to leverage interactive microsites to help promote the industry and they desired a long term client/agency relationship that was based on customer service. We certainly jumped at the opportunity and over the past three years our relationship with the ABA and the work we have created has won numerous industry awards and helped generate positive buzz for the ABA and its members.
Fastspot was also instrumental in providing innovative ideas and strategies for the ABA to streamline its internal workflow and data management systems, working with multiple departments and teams responsible for various tasks and responsibilities. Custom interactive tools and data management modules were created to specifically meet the needs of individual departments within the association. Additionally, Fastspot has played an active role in consulting and advising the ABA on best practices in social media, blogging, integrating media and other content with their online brands, and continuing to offer value and resources to ABA members and the community.
