The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health contracted with Fastspot and Neustadt Creative Marketing to conduct research and implement those findings into a new information architecture and site design. The focus of the new design puts greater emphasis on introducing the Bloomberg School to prospective students and improving user navigation.
“I’m very pleased with the look and feel of the new site. A strong web presence is essential for sharing our knowledge and research, which is part of our mission to improve health and save lives,” says Michael J. Klag, MD, MPH, dean of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
In addition to placing greater emphasis on introducing the School to prospective students, the new homepage will also feature more content about departments, research and aspects of student life. Site navigation architecture was upgraded to help make pages easier to find and improve the user experience.
Full implementation of the redesign will continue over the next several months as pages are converted to the new layout.
