On the job, Amber thrives on building efficiencies and facilitating clear communication. Off the job, her experience as an artist and writer means she's a creative thinker who makes unexpected connections.

Amber comes to Fastspot with four years of experience in higher education where she worked in various academic departments and served on the institutional strategic planning committee—which is to say she understands the landscape of higher ed. Before that, she was living abroad in places like Peru and Syria, although she still considers Nebraska her home.

In her downtime, Amber loves reading, making cocktails, and taking walks in Greenmount Cemetery. She also serves on the Advisory Committee at the Institute for Contemporary Art in Baltimore.
