Kat got her start in the creative space as a writer, she moved to digital and web technologies. Helping humans reach their personal and professional goals is rewarding for Kat, as is creating solutions that are transparent and aesthetically pleasing to use.
After working at education organizations focused on creating more equitable access to college education in New York City in teaching, programming, and marketing capacities, Kat moved on to recruiting for creative and technology roles for a growing staffing agency.
Kat developed her content strategy skills in the association space and worked closely with board members to define their business and website needs. More recently, she has worked in content management, eCommerce, and data analytics capacities for education and publishing organizations.
Kat completed her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism at New York University and a Master’s Degree in Liberal Studies from The Graduate Center at CUNY. Currently, she is currently enrolled part-time at the University of Baltimore’s Interaction Design and Information Architecture program and completed her UX Certificate within the same program in 2019.
