One of the great things about working on digital projects is that there's always something new to learn. Every project brings us new challenges, and we're constantly adding new tools to our toolbox to ensure that we're prepared to meet them.

We have a cross-disciplinary team that is great at contributing ideas within Fastspot. This summer, we've decided to share what we’re learning with the broader community, as well. Learning and Libations is an evening of education and conversation at our Baltimore office. We're inviting members of the Baltimore tech community, colleagues, peers, friends, and clients to join us. With everyone’s participation, we seek to expand our understanding of the topics we cover through outside perspectives and discourse. It is our hope that everyone in attendance will gain some new ideas (and maybe even some new friends) to fuel their next creative project.

The first event in the series was held on Thursday, July 20, and hosted by the Fastspot UX/Strategy team. The team gave a presentation outlining Fastspot’s new Journey Mapping process and then led the entire crowd in a lively collaborative exercise in putting a hypothetical Journey Map together. Thank you to all of our visitors, and to Anne, Lucas, and Nichole for running a great session. Video and photos below!

The next Learning and Libations event will be Thursday, August 17, and will be hosted by our Design team. We look forward to learning what they have to share!
