It is tempting to say yes to everything. Yes is easier, everyone likes hearing yes, and yes means forward progress. When you say yes you say you agree, you are on board and you are willing to work together on the next steps.

On the other side we have no. Saying no is hard, it doesn't feel good, it creates friction, it puts up a stop sign. No means we don't see things the same and moving forward is not possible.

I propose that your "yeses" mean nothing if not equally balanced with a healthy dose of "nos". If you are saying yes to everything, how can you really say you are agreeing? You are simply choosing to avoid resistance, friction or stopping points. You are but a leaf in the stream, at the mercy of the current.
