Ford's Theatre Online Ticket Sales Double

An integral part of the Ford's Theatre website redesign was working with Tessitura, and TNEW, a ticketing, subscriptions, and box office management software system, to improve the ticket exploration and selection process. Year over year, the impact has been impressive.

Ford's advanced ticket sales for historic site visits increased by 156% in Q1 and Q2 2017, while total online ticket sales increased by 130% in the same period.

Results Show in Diversity at Amherst College

Fastspot worked with Amherst to launch a website in 2016 that underscores the unique character of the institution and more effectively tells its story to curious prospective students from across the country and around the world. Applications rose by 10% in the year following site launch, and by an additional 13% the following year; both record highs. Dean of Admissions Katie Fretwell commented in the Amherst student newspaper that the incoming class of 2022 is themost diverse pool of accepted students, socioeconomically, geographically and racially.”

Architecture.org - Leveraging Content For High Engagement

The team at Chicago Architecture Foundation took full advantage of a new site and a powerful new BigTree CMS implementation to become content powerhouses. The best part? People are flocking to the site to consume that content!

Lafayette College - Record Breaking Growth

At a time when many colleges and universities are struggling to meet recruitment goals, Lafayette received its highest number of applications this year. More than 8,100 prospective students applied to be members of the Class of 2020, a whopping 40 percent increase over the last five years.

George Washington's Mount Vernon - A Banner Year

Bucknell University - A Record Year for Admissions Applications

Bucknell University saw a record numbers of applications for admission to the Class of 2019. The University recorded over 10,925 applications, marking an all-time high in Bucknell's 169-year history. The milestone represents a nearly 39-percent increase over previous year's number of applications and exceeds the previous record set in 2006 by more than 1,800.  

Hamilton’s Success Measured in Awards and Results

Fastspot redesigned the website for Hamilton College in 2016, earning rave reviews and a CASE Circle of Excellence gold award, the most prestigious recognition in higher education. The Hamilton website was also honored in the best school/university category of the 2018 Webby Awards. Just as importantly, the website has supported Hamilton’s outreach to prospective students, which was one of its primary objectives. Applications rose by nearly 20% in the two years following site launch.

Kenyon College Shatters Records

Applications were up 63 percent after the site launch, driving Kenyon’s acceptance rate down to a highly selective 24.6 percent, an historic low for the College. 

Equally as impressive was the quality of the candidates. Average SAT scores climbed 13 points in all three math, verbal and written components.  

Tufts University Sees Big Increases

Tufts University experienced record applications following the launch of new admissions focused website initiatives, and saw its acceptance rate fall below 20 percent for the first time.
