We love partnerships that last long enough for us to replace our own work. We created the previous Kenyon website in 2012, and with the 2021 site we've come full circle with our trusted partner.
"Leave No Doubt" that Kenyon is the Right Fit
Job one for the new website was to outline Kenyon’s more distinct qualities and present the ways in which each benefits the right student. For instance, Gambier, OH is definitely remote, but that allows Kenyon to curate a campus experience that promotes focus, introspection, and discourse. These qualities resonate loudly in the ears of the right students and leave no doubt that Kenyon is the place for them.
Embrace the Purple
Purple is a powerful color, for that reason it’s often played down in design systems. We took a bold approach to the color palette, adding a range of strong purple tones and balancing them with an energetic set of secondary colors.
Celebrating the Written Word
Kenyon is known for its focus on teaching students to write and speak exceptionally well. We created spaces to tease out some of the best examples.
